World Premiere of Trafficking PSA featuring cast from the new film Paradise Highway

Human trafficking is a devastating and urgent crime that affects every country and community around the world. But it is an issue that is often hidden in plain sight.

Children make up almost one-third of trafficked persons worldwide. The voices of these children need to be heard. Because when our stories are heard and understood, we can begin to heal.

Paradise Highway is one such story that is representative of the thousands of children who are trafficked, and how the people they encounter play a role in how their story ends. In tragedy — or in hope and healing.

ICMEC Switzerland hosted a fundraising event and screening to bring awareness to stories like these. To kick off the evening, ICMEC premiered a brand new PSA featuring Paradise Highway cast member Cameron Monaghan who plays Special Agent Sterling.

The film’s director Anna Gutto joined the film’s producer, Claudia Bluemhuber, and child protection expert Caroline Humer for a Q&A following the screening. The event was hosted by long time board member Franz Humer and Majo Fruithof Humer.
